MOMOTARO was born in Nepal, the land of the Himalayas. Nepal, with its steep mountains, faces many difficulties, but it is a smiling country with the warmest people in the world. Born from Nepal's popular snack, the steam dumpling momo, MOMOTARO is the first original character born in Nepal. We hope that MOMOTARO will be a source of comfort to many children and bring many smiles to them.

MOMO-Taro Takes the Stage at MERRY EXPO!
At the Expo 2025 Osaka, Kansai, we held a joyful celebration of smiles and peace—MERRY EXPO. One of the highlights was the appearance of MOMO-Taro, who joined children from Japan in a heartwarming dance performance full of smiles.
This special stage, along with our ongoing efforts in disaster recovery and educational support in Nepal, was featured and shared through a documentary on a Japanese TV program, “Me~tele.”

Everest International School, Japan – Arakawa Campus
MOMO-Taro made a special appearance at the grand opening ceremony of Everest International School, Japan – Arakawa Campus, the first Nepalese school ever established in Japan!
He delivered smiles, encouragement, and educational support to Nepalese children living in Japan, celebrating this historic milestone together. Moving forward, MOMO-Taro will continue to work together with the wonderful community at Everest International School, supporting the education and bright future of children who will shape tomorrow’s Nepal.
